LASIK (Laser-Assisted in-Situ Keratomileusis) is an out-patient procedure that involves the creation of a micro thin corneal flap and the use of a laser to reshape the cornea of the eye.  This flap can be created in two ways: with the use of a microkeratome blade or with the blade-free IntraLase™ Femtosecond Laser.

Lasik surgery is used to reduce or eliminate the use of glasses and contact lenses. It also helps to treat, improve and correct vision problems such as myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness), presbyopia (blurring of vision due to aging) and astigmatism (images appear blurred and distorted.

LSC Philippines specializes in Lasik refractive surgery and takes pride in using only the most trusted excimer laser worldwide, the VISX™ Star4 Excimer laser with IRIS registration and the latest and most up-to-date blade-free, IntraLase™ Femtosecond Laser. These technologies are used to treat US Top Gun pilots, Navy SEALS and NASA astronauts and are capable of performing precise customized treatments that can improve vision beyond 20/20.
